Mount Rivers neighbours, Alyson Moore and Marisa Groves, hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in Marisa’s beautiful garden Saturday 25 May 2019. Friends, family & colleagues gathered for a good catch up, Tea Trivia and raffles in support of breast cancer research & support.
Dungog Mayor, Cr Tracy Norman officiated at the cake cutting ceremony and joined in on the fun and games. Thank you, Tracy, for your generous support and time.
Not only was it a delightful way to spend a stunningly beautiful autumn Saturday in the valley, but the event raised $1,700 in donations for the Cancer Council. Thank you to all the generous online donors, to ABBEY Language Travel which pledged all donations dollar for dollar, and to those who attended on the day opening the hearts & their wallets.
Finally, a big thanks to Marisa and Leon Groves for opening their beautiful garden with its wonderful rose garden, outdoor dining areas, arbours, avenues, pool & ponds, hedges and shady verandahs. A masterpiece indeed and a perfect venue for our Tea!
