ABBEY Language Travel Study Tours
ABBEY Language Travel specializes in organizing high quality language and culture study tours designed for high school students in senior years who wish to immerse themselves in a foreign language and culture. Our ABBEY Tours are offered every year during the school holidays.

Independent Study Tours
ABBEY Tours are organized independently from any particular school or college and are eligible to senior high school students aged 15 years-old minimum from any Australian or New Zealand school.
Tour Eligibility
Students in Years 10 – 12 (Australia) and Years 11 to 13 (New Zealand) aged minimum 15 years old may apply for a place on the tour. ABBEY reserves the right to reject an application if the applicant does not meet the criteria.
Fully Escorted
ABBEY tours are fully escorted by carefully appointed ABBEY Escorts who accompany groups from Australia and/or New Zealand on international flights and during the entire tour. See some of our tour escorts profiles here.
In addition to ABBEY escorts, some group excursions and activities are led by private accredited and English-speaking tour guides specialized in guiding foreign groups. Teachers and other staff employed by the host schools are also appointed as local escorts.
Local Partners
ABBEY works with carefully selected providers in each destination including fully accredited language schools (IALC, Alliance Française, etc.). All transport, venues, schools and commercial accommodation such as residences, hostels and the like are approved and licensed in accordance with local laws and requirements.
Risk Management
A risk assessment is conducted for all activities and destinations. Tours exclude any activities which represent a high risk in terms of their occurrence or of their impact/outcome. Tours err on the side of extreme caution. Risk Management Reports are available for all participants and their parents/caregivers.
